Number of Ukrainian children under 17 who had the flu and SARS since the beginning of the epidemic season, makes more than one and a half million persons. This was reported in the press service of the State sanitary epidemic service.
According to the World Health Organization, the best protection against influenza is vaccination. Vaccination not only prevents disease but also prevents complications, including pneumonia of varying severity, meningitis, otitis, exacerbation of chronic diseases. Each year doctors fix on average half a million deaths due to complications from influenza.
