Once a new case of AI virus in Sub Clade 2.3.2 Tanggamus
Lampung Tribune - Monday, January 21, 2013 Department of Animal Husbandry (Disnak) Tanggamus claimed to have received reports of the emergence of avian influenza virus sub-clade 2.3.2.
Case AI sub clade 2.3.2 viruses last occurred in Pekon Kebumen, District Resource Rejo, on Wednesday (09/01/2013) then. Currently there are 211 dead wild duck tail.
According to Eko Turyono, Head of Animal Health, made possible the entry of virus afian influenza (AI) to Tanggamus through transportation.
"In some other districts of the AI virus introduction and transport pathways, it is likely to happen here. Indeed transportation equipment such as trucks, other vehicles transporting poultry can spread the virus," said Eko, Monday (01/21/2013).
He appealed to the vehicle owner, if after transporting poultry should be washed. Because the nature of AI virus can stick anywhere including clothing and eventually expand distribution.
