Mexico With new cases of bird flu, now in Aguascalientes

The Mexican poultry industry is on alert again
GUADALAJARA, JALISCO (08/ENE/2013.) - The Mexican poultry industry is on alert again. A new outbreak of avian influenza in the metropolitan area of Aguascalientes, which is of a task analysis to determine the Federal Government strategy.According poultry industry officials expressed hopes that within hours information requires the National System Food Safety and Quality (Senasica), so that all involved assume their responsibility. The matter is of great importance, since Aguascalientes is located at a strategic point because of its proximity to two major areas concentration of poultry farms, such as the Altos de Jalisco and the Bajio.     TO KNOW The last summer's outbreak of avian influenza left a negative balance of 22.3 million dead birds.
