A nurse, Justina Obi Ejelonu, that attended to late Liberian Patrick Sawyer while he was ill at the First Consultant hospital in Lagos, has died.
25 year old Justina was one of the primary contacts with Patrick
Sawyer at a Lagos Hospital where he received treatment after he was
rushed from the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.
Justina, who shared her story and experience with Patrick Sawyer at the weekend, died a few hours ago in a quarantine facility in Lagos.
Ms. Ejelonu was very vocal in the campaign for the release of the
ZMapp experimental drug to Nigerian Ebola disease patients. Her
relatives confirmed the news.
