The 19-year-old originally suspected pneumonia. He died within 48 hours after first saying he was ill.

An apparently healthy 19-year-old Radford man died Tuesday after a brief and mysterious illness friends and family initially thought was pneumonia.
Dustin Hayth had lived in Roanoke and attended Patrick Henry High School before attending school in Franklin County and finally graduating from Christiansburg High School, said Tammy Cupp, mother of Hayth’s girlfriend.
Hayth and Breigh Cupp had spent a week at the beach with her aunt, uncle and nephew and returned over the weekend with the young nephew suffering from pneumonia, according to Tammy Cupp.
Soon, Hayth began to feel poorly and suspected he had pneumonia, too.
