Bird flu outbreak in Kampong Cham

PUBLISHED: 18-FEB-13 06:13PM CHAM (The Cambodia Herald) –  Outbreaks of bird flu in Stueng Trong and Prey Chor districts have killed 385 heads of poultry, officials said Monday.

The officials said experts were advising local residents after positive tests on three ducks.

Cambodia reported last week that a sixth person had died from bird flu since January.

Health Minister Man Bunheng has said that bird flu remains a "serious threat to Cambodians especially young children."  http://www.thecambodiaherald.com/cambodia/detail/1?page=15&title=cambodia&token=YzE2OGYzZGViNjI&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=cenkh
