Panama
strengthened its biosecurity measures at its borders and farms and restricted
the entry of live animals from Mexico for the outbreak of bird flu in the
Mexican state of Jalisco, authorities said today and
producers.
"We
are alert to any situation, any product (live animal) coming from Mexico is
restricted ', told Notimex director of Animal Health, Ministry of Agriculture,
Manuel Gonzalez.
