Amid reports of outbreak of epidemics in parts of the district as monsoon gathered momentum during the last couple of days, a two-year old girl died at a hospital in Mangalore due to suspected case of fever and vomiting.
Aneesha, daughter of Satheeshan, residing at Ichilangode near Paduppu, died late on Sunday night in the hospital where she was said to have been undergoing treatment for severe bout of fever and vomiting for the last two days.
The girl’s death comes amid reports of outbreak of epidemics in Kumbla and Bandiyode localities triggering panic among the residents.
