Sierra Leone will send police
officers to a health clinic in the east of the country after
family members of a woman infected with Ebola removed her from
the facility and threatened medical staff.
The family also removed other patients from the Koindu
Health Center in Kailahun who were being monitored for possibly
having Ebola, Drima Kargbo, chief medical officer at the
ministry of health, said in an interview. Laboratory tests
confirmed the woman had the virus. “We are worried as this action of the people may increase the number of Ebola cases in the District,” he said. “We are working on sending the police to the area to protect the medical staff in the health center and to locate the where about of the patients.”... http://www.businessweek.com/news/2014-05-27/sierra-leone-to-send-police-to-find-missing-woman-with-ebola
