As of right now, Ncov will be allowed a 10 day grace period. That means there are no travel restrictions anywhere, no actual special screening at points of entry, no travel warnings, alerts or thermal screening.
Now that the stuff is trying to go h2h, I think there should be a little more notice to travelers and the public in general. Without trying to single out any particular country, we all know it is harbored in the middle east and continues to become worrisome to all health services. They are just having a hard time explaining it to all the common folk.
Of course they wouldn't dream of closing off all their buddies in the M.E., but pretending it is not about to become a problem is like watching them intentionally hide the seriousness of what just happened.
Health agencies are really scared out of their shorts, but can't tell you that. 3 cases in a week or so and running down all their contacts is not something they do everyday. A mild case, a case with H1N1, VAGUE REPORTS on ages and conditions.. you get the picture don't you?
Health agencies are telling travelers to report suspicious symptoms after 10 days from return. That means 10 days for the guy to cough in your face!
But don't worry, They will tell you in plenty of time to prepare.. like maybe in 10 days.
Any person with severe acute respiratory infection:
Symptoms of fever (≥ 38⁰C) or history of fever, and cough
AND
With evidence of pulmonary parenchymal disease (eg. clinical or radiological evidence of pneumonia or Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS))
AND
Not explained by any other infection or aetiology

History of travel to, or residence in an area where infection with novel coronavirus 2012 could have been acquired

Advice for travellers
This confirmed case without a recent travel history suggests that human-to-human transmission has occurred in the UK. However the risk of UK residents contracting infection in the UK is very low. There continue to be no travel restrictions to the Arabian Peninsula and the risk to travellers remains very low.
Travellers returning from the Arabian Peninsula and surrounding countries, with mild respiratory symptoms are most likely to have a common respiratory illness such as a cold. 13 February 2013 – To date, nine cases of human infection with the novel coronavirus have been confirmed in the Eastern Mediterranean Region. Two of the cases were from Jordan, five from Saudi Arabia and two from Qatar. Five of these patients died. Two clusters were detected – one within a family in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the other among health care workers in a hospital in Jordan.
The WHO Regional Office held a technical consultative meeting in Cairo, Egypt, from 14 to 15 January 2013, to: look at the natural history of this new disease; examine the source of infection, mode of transmission, transmissibility of infection and degree of infectiousness; assess laboratory diagnostic capabilities; and interpret test results.
