KINSHASA (© 2012 AFP) - Thirty cases of haemorrhagic fever Ebola killed 14 in two weeks in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo, three times more cases compared to mid-August, according to the Organization World Health Organization (WHO).
September 1, "a total of 30 cases were recorded, including 6 probable 17 suspects and seven positive to Ebola virus, with 14 deaths," said a WHO report, adding that 169 people have been contact with the victims were under surveillance.
In mid-August, nine deaths were recorded in 11 cases reported.
